My Name is April
I was formally introduced to God at the age of 17 on a fateful day in March 2010. I found myself contemplating His existence and if his existence had any personal connection to me. In the same moment that I came to the conclusion that I was too far gone; I was enraptured in the love of God. It was like nothing I had ever felt before. In those moments, I experienced and accepted that God is Real! and that He. Loves. Faithfully. He always has and He always will.This encounter changed my life forever and started my journey with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
In 2014, I left Midwest America and everything there behind to attended bible school in Florida where I received a bachelors in ministry and biblical studies.Since then, I have been able to work with international ministries, help start churches as well as set up functioning system structures for their departments. By Gods grace I have had the privilege of leading thousands of people to Jesus while helping train others to do so as well. In 2022 the Lord commissioned me that it was time to step out and build with Him. This birthed the vision for TheNewNormTV.
TheNewNormTv is a media platform and ministry based in the the United States and Europe who’s mission is to serve young people who seek to break away from unhealthy and unworthy familial, societal, a communal norms by equipping them with the spiritual tools, proper perspective and practical applications that they will need to do just that.
My purpose is clear. I am here to nurture and prepare God's people to fulfill their own purpose. God has put something special on the inside of every person that only they can fulfill. However, because of trauma, lack of love and identity, spiritual weakness, lack of exposure to better(I could go on), their lives and destiny's never reach its full potential. Many end up stuck and repeating demonic cycles for the rest of their life.
My desire is to see people set free by encountering this same love that I encountered; to see peoples lives able to transition and change into God's intention, regardless of their age, family history, past mistakes or current condition.
